In order to be considered for an award, a candidate must be currently enrolled in a state-approved Health Science program, a high school senior, and the instructor must be a current MiHSE member. One $500 scholarship per region will be awarded.
The student MUST redeem the scholarship no later than December 31, 2024 (for those awarded a scholarship in 2024).
Scholarship checks will be mailed after the MiHSE Treasurer receives confirmation of your first semester registration at a post-secondary institution for a health-related career. Confirmation can be a tuition bill sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The scholarship process has been revised, 2024 applications are now open. Students must submit an application and 2 references. One is a reference from the CTE instructor the other a non-family member. Applications and references must be received by February 29, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST.
We encourage our members to join our scholarship committee. The committee is chaired by our Treasurer, and is currently working on funding sources and award amounts.
